18th century: The Dutch and Portuguese Influence on Art and Architecture

Topsham has been a centre for trade for many centuries. The Topsham Art Group and Topsham Museum Society will be staging an exhibition on the influences from Holland and Portugal.

This Millenium Exhibition explores the trading relations and overseas commerce of 18th century Topsham. The information has been Drawn from diaries and records of local families, all prominent in the Devonshire serge cloth trade.
