Topsham Museum is housed in a
group of late 17th century buildings overlooking the Exe Estuary. As well as
the furnished period rooms of the house, visitors can also enjoy the displays
of local history with a maritime background. Other interesting exhibits include
local crafts, wildlife on the Exe, Estuary and memorabilia of the film star
Vivien Leigh.

2008 SEASON
This year we reopen on Wednesday
19th March. Our new River Gallery and refurbished Sail Loft, refurbishments
supported by a grant from the National Lottery's Heritage Lottery Fund, are now

OPENING TIMES
19th March to 31st October
inclusive, 2pm-5pm Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Group visits at
other times by prior arrangement.
Wheelchair access is convenient
through our new River Gallery, where there is a lift to the Sail
Loft.
