Topsham Town Fayre 2008

Town Fayre logoWelcome once again to a week of fun for the whole community.

The cost of everything continues to rise and we would like to acknowledge the support of our major sponsors. Parsons Haulage donates lorries and drivers to enable local groups to enter motorised floats - without their support our carnival procession would look a little sad. Also we would have no Topsham Royalty Float if it was not for the generosity of South West Communications.

There are many other people and organisations that help make the Town Fayre the event that it is - our thanks to them all. Also, please try and support the local businesses that advertise in the programme - available now from Topsham News and Tops in Topsham. We need these businesses to be successful in order to help ensure that Topsham continues to thrive as a community.

Finally, one last plea - please give generously to the carnival procession collectors. The procession is not a free show - it costs a lot of money to put on. The colleciton is one of our major sources of fundraising - so dig out those coins!

(P.S. Does anyone know how we all survived before 'Elf 'n' Safety and Risk Assessments? Answers on a postcard please).

Enjoy yourselves!

The Committee (Shirley Hack, Veronica Coe, Kevin Hack, Gerry Hannaway, Gary Turley, Gemma Turl, Sharon Drew)
